Indy Cross joins Agenda Alliance with almost 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, as an expert in stakeholder relations, strategic planning, communications and fundraising.
Indy is a Trustee of Birthrights, and before leading Agenda Alliance she held senior leadership positions at criminal justice charity Spark Inside; young people’s enterprise charity The Peter Jones Foundation; and Arts Council England.
Indy has run strategic brand and communications programmes for high-profile organisations, including the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games and the Government Equalities Office, working with the Ministers for Women and Equalities.
Jess has worked in policy, research and co-production in the voluntary sector for over fifteen years, with a focus on women and girls, and social justice.
Before joining Agenda Alliance, she held a variety of research and policy roles with organisations including Plan International UK, the Howard League and the Young Women's Trust.
She is a Trustee for Clean Break, having previously sat on the board of Women's Breakout and Clinks. She has a Masters in Gender from the LSE, is a Griffins Society Fellow and volunteers with Opening Doors London.
Maisie brings a range of policy, research and campaigning experience to Agenda Alliance with a particular interest in criminal justice, domestic abuse, racism in charities and civic space.
Her background has included work with Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse, the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, and ACEVO, the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations. Maisie is also an active musician as founder and now chief executive of Sing Inside, a national charity providing community singing workshops in prisons with whom she regularly leads workshops. She works regularly as a professional freelance singer with ensembles including the BBC Singers and St Martin’s Voices, and is a trustee at Clinks.
Nia has experience working in policy, research and conflict mediation. Prior to joining Agenda Alliance, Nia worked as a Programme Officer for a conflict resolution charity, working with key constituencies and marginalised communities in Israel and Palestine.
Additionally, she has experience working in academic research and holds an MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies (with Arabic) from the University of Oxford.
Tara has formerly worked on policy, strategic communications and research.
Prior to joining Agenda Alliance, Tara worked for an MP tackling national issues including the climate crisis and the cost-of-living crisis, working to help local constituents.
Tara has experience volunteering with women’s charities and has been the Women’s Officer on an Executive Committee. She holds an MSc in Gender and International Relations from the University of Bristol, where she studied feminist economics, looking at the ways in which women and minority groups are inhibited by, and excluded from, the economic sphere. Tara has a particular interest in making policy accessible to all.
Aleema holds a BSc Hons in Psychology and Human Resource Management from Middlesex University, as well as ten years of administrative and PA experience.
Prior to joining Agenda Alliance, Aleema worked at a Law Centre, where she offered administrative assistance to the Immigration, Housing and Welfare Benefit Solicitors for those facing domestic violence, abuse, homelessness and poverty. Aleema developed passion and a strong dedication to social justice and supporting the rights of women and girls through her work and walk of life.
Teddy has a background working across co-ordination, research and education.
Prior to joining Agenda Alliance Teddy has worked in a research and co-ordination role for an organisational psychology company, volunteered within a grassroots feminist campaign and supported children and young people both in and outside of school. They continue to work as a relationships and sex educator when they aren’t supporting Agenda. Teddy is currently completing their MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology at the LSE, with a focus on exploring gender and social movements.
Nina has a range of experience spanning press and PR, campaigning, and frontline work in the sexual violence sector.
She is a trained Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA), having previously co-ordinated support for survivors navigating the process of reporting to the police, and has a lifelong commitment to grassroots social justice organising.
Before joining Agenda Alliance, Nina worked as the Communications Co-Ordinator for Clean Break, a theatre company working with women with lived experience of the criminal justice system.
