Who we are and what we do
We want to see a world where women and girls are free from inequality, violence and abuse and are able to reach their full potential.
We are an alliance of organisations and individuals who have come together to campaign for change for women and girls at risk.
We believe society is failing to adequately protect and support women and girls who face the most extensive violence, abuse, trauma and inequality.
We are calling for systems and services to be redesigned with women and girls at their heart so that they can access the support they need to rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.
What we do
Agenda is a growing alliance of over 70 voluntary sector organisations. We work with policy makers, commissioners, service providers and voluntary organisations. We campaign and carry out research. We share learning and best practice across sectors and we aim to influence and shape systems and service delivery. We ensure that women with complex needs and the projects that work with them are at the heart of all our work. We believe in giving a voice to women who are marginalised and excluded from public debates.
Justice: We are determined and steadfast in upholding the rights of women and girls and in working to challenge structural inequalities and systemic failures
Courage: We are courageous in speaking out and taking action for and with women and girls. We provide platforms for their views and voices
Vision: We work with imagination to reframe the debate around women and girls at risk, challenge current thinking and practice, and open the door to new solutions and approaches.
Connection: We listen to different perspectives and draw strength from diversity. We seek to develop shared understanding and find new ways of talking, thinking and working across divides and boundaries.
Credibility: Our work is grounded in robust evidence, proven good practice and the experiences of women and girls.
